Clear Your Lungs and Sinuses In 30 Minutes With These Homemade Shower Disks
Some people prefer showers over baths for they are quick and are best at doing their job. But a big plus point of baths is that they are a lot more relaxing, luxurious and the steam is good for you. Many people are aware of bath bombs and how they can make your normal bath extraordinary. What people do not know about are shower disks.
Shower disks are little…disks that can be placed on your shower floor and it slowly dissolves while emitting cleansing fumes that boost your immunity system and a great cleanser for your sinuses and lungs. All what you have to do is place the disk on your shower floor and you can go on and about with your shower and leave it to do its job.
And the best thing about these shower disks is that you can make at your home. The whole procedure should roughly take 30 minutes. They also need pretty simple ingredients that you can get a hold of easily. Heres a quick and easy tutorial for you to know how to make a shower disk:
- Baking Soda
- Muffin Liners
- Essential Oils (no specific one, just anyone that you have at hand)
- 1 Muffin Tin
Get a glass bowl and mix in it 1 tbsp. of cornstarch, 13 cup of water and a cup of baking soda. Mix them all thoroughly with a fork until you get a thick paste that can still flow. You might need to add a dash of extra water.
Pour this paste into your muffin tins. They should be a quarter full only. Place them in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
After your shower muffins have sufficiently cooled down add 3-4 drops of whatever essential oil you currently have. Lavender is great for relaxing you. Eucalyptus is best for a fit and strong respiratory system and is just the thing for skin miniaturization. Although kids under 10 years old shouldnt use it! Peppermint of course gives a strong and refreshing scent to your bath.
After your shower disks are completely dry keep them in an airtight container for your next shower. Just be safe and dont trip on them when they are on your shower floor.
